Point up pentacle

I have a necklace that is old and silver and it is point up pentacle. Is it okay for me to wear it? Even though its not inverted. Pentacles represent earth and humans right? Should i throw it away...? shoul it be inverted instead?

What I did Shannon is I took all my pentacles from my Wicca days,and I have a drawer full of them,and I took side cutters,and first cut the circle completely off.Then I consecrated them to Satan,and when I display them,or wear them,I always put a link in the middle,so that it will hang point down.The inverted pentagram,brings power to the earth,the pentacle,on the other hand drains the earth of her power.Hope that helps,its what I did.

The point up pentagram IS a part of satanism. However, I haven't seen it used for anything else OTHER than Astaroths symbol. The reason is because the point up pentagram throws energies into space. The point down pentagram pours the energies into the earth. So as far as the point up pentagram goes, it should not under any circumstances be overused. I've never seen the JOS ask us to use it and we should use it very little, if at all other than Astaroth's Symbol. My own personal beliefs on the negativity of the point up pentagram are based on what father satan has to say about the point up pentagram. You can make your own assumptions from here.
