Other Please, help me find my way back...

AvatarAsk Zeus Operator1 min to read

According to our faith, I’ve made some serious mistakes, and I deeply regret them. I’m trying to make things right, but I can’t feel the presence of the gods. The past few years of my life have been a complete disaster.

I’ve hit rock bottom, both in my professional life and in my studies and career. At the same time, I’ve drifted away from our faith.

Do you think the gods are angry with me? What should I do to get my life back on track? I’ve already done what I needed to do to make amends for the mistakes I mentioned earlier. I want to turn my life around. I have so many dreams, and I want to make them all come true.

I’m still at the beginning of my journey, and I know I have many years ahead of me. Yet, I can’t shake the feeling that I’m already too late and that I’ll never be able to turn things around. My lack of motivation and anxiety about the future are eating me alive.

Please, show me the way. Help me find my path.

Hello,

Yet, I can’t shake the feeling that I’m already too late and that I’ll never be able to turn things around. My lack of motivation and anxiety about the future are eating me alive.

If you feel you are late now, imagine how will you feel when it is tomorrow and even later. It is a horrible feeling, I know, but time will pass regardless of what you do or don't.

I can’t feel the presence of the gods

Keep inviting them to your life and actually create room in your life that their presence can manifest. By this I mean, you can't ask something and wait for answer, you need to take action after petitioning for their presence.

The Gods don't judge you like that, nor you'll be disabled to connect to them, by them. It's only on you. Those who are not aligned with the Gods, who haven't created a vessel, a condition where connection with the Gods is possible, and they are not reaching for the Gods, than they can't. It's simply as physical laws.

That means, if you actually sculp yourself so that the Gods may dwell in you, and you invite them, then they will. If you don't, they won't, because they can't, yet they still want you to sculp yourself, not for their own good but because of yours.

This explains thoroughly how to connect with the Gods.

I'm pretty sure you are just experiencing a temporary setback and bad mood, and your emotions over exaggerate it. You are fine. Trust me. More than fine here.

Start small, start meditating, start doing some God rituals, perhaps participate in the ritual schedules. Very detailed guides on these are on the ToZ website.

Good luck, and don't forget, if you do the walking you have nothing to fear.

No one is angry. And no time for this, because you have to start walking the path. So. Here study and learn what to do:

Hello, brother. (Or sister)

We’ve all been there at some point. It’s okay to feel this way, it happens.

However it’s not okay to stay this way.

You might be young and keep oscillating between on and off.

However life will be merciless if you stay like this. You’ll find yourself 30-40 having to start again. Lots of lost opportunities, lots of stolen years.

Saturn will also mercilessly punish you, you’ll be put in situations where you need money but don’t have none, end up with lots of humiliation.

You need spiritual power but you’re powerless. You’ll think the Gods have left you, when in fact you’ve left The Gods…

If you meet a girl (for example) you love you’ll be completely powerless and have no value.

Your ambition will torture you. Your big dreams will destroy your psyche if you don’t act on them. You’ll see people moving ahead and you staying the same becoming more and more of a loser. You’ll be petty, envious, and negative.

So lock in, focus, start a routine. Take it step by step. You don’t need to be perfect immediately and let go of all or nothing mindset this is most important. Get better by 1-10% in areas of your choice daily. By a year you’ll be completely unrecognizable.

Start with the lightest pace on the beginner program here. Keep consistent and level up in a year.

Also, don’t let your ambitions and dreams be dreams! Turn them into reality. Start a business, a job save money make money. Hit the gym and MOVE. Take a step daily. No Zero Days. Don’t allow a day where you get no win from it no spiritual, physical, financial win is not allowed.

You’re not too late. The best time to start planting your tree was 10 years ago. The second best time is today! Tonight! Get started, don’t get motivated. Get started.

#5

The best time to plant a tree was yesterday. The second best time is today.

Forgive yourself for your past, for you didn't know better, and the Gods are aware of this. And make efforts for your present, to make Them proud now, because They are surely not angry at you, but waiting for you to get back on track.

You can start doing that by sticking to meditation. Even if you start with 10-15 minutes a day for now. Get rid of any addiction you might have - here also counts social media addiction - and of things that are damaging to you, like extended seated periods, etc.

With these 2, you're already many steps ahead. The rest will come on its own. Many people already know, or they have an idea, of what they have to do, they just need confirmation or a little push.

You can come any time to ask for help on the forums and people will be here and will help you kindly with any questions you have.

May your spirit flow with ease like the rivers finding the sea of the Gods and the cosmic order.

First of all, welcome back.

I know personally when I would experience the feeling of disconnection it was always personal, usually do to programming of prior religious backgrounds. Many of these programs are built on guilt, and shame where the price to pay for transgression is ridicule, hate, the fear of being an outcast, or worse. HPZM mentions in many articles about the gods never abandoning us. They always want to see us do well.

One of the most beautiful things about our path is we have true freedom, the freedom to fail, the freedom to try again, the freedom to apply the knowledge we are offered with wisdom, or not. In all cases of action, whether it be transgression or not, there is natural consequence. Every action has a natural balancing act but this is to keep cosmic order not to punish.

A parent who sees their child fall into a path of substance abuse usually doesn’t say, “my kid is no longer worthy of my love” but rather, they hope to see them do better. They hope to see them want better for themselves, to treat their body with respect and nourish it properly.

Shifting your perspective to understanding you have not been left, but you simply looked the other way when told the stove is hot. It burns over there, you touched it and it hurt. Plain and simple. You have perspective.

With the amazing work our Clergy has done to update the ToZ website, it’s easier than ever to understand where we have gaps in our routine and find a good starting point.

Have an honest conversation with yourself, don’t swear or pledge an oath. Just give yourself the honest reflection you deserve to move on.

Have a reflection every day, be honest and move on. Don’t dwell, see what needs improving, like a system, replace what isn’t working and keep going.

You’ve got this, welcome home. We’re all here to help.

I think you're being far too hard on yourself. You've recognised your mistakes, taken responsibility and tried to make amends. At some point, you also need to allow yourself to move forward... don't be so hard on yourself.

I wouldn't assume the Gods are angry with you simply because you can no longer feel Their presence. Especially when you're struggling with anxiety and guilt, your own state of mind can affect how you experience the Gods. It's more a situation that you're closed to the Divine, not the other way around.

If I were in your position, I'd start by rebuilding some consistency. Start meditating again, praying to the Gods, even if you feel nothing at first. You can begin with the First Steps in Zevism, which offers a gradual approach to reconnecting with the Gods.

Regarding your career and studies, choose one problem you can realistically address soon, and work on it. Don't try to do everything at once. If you can't see the entire path ahead of you, try to figure out your next step only and don't measure your future against everything that went wrong in the past, you cannot let one bad moment of your life define who you are. You still have years ahead of you, and your present circumstances do not determine what you'll accomplish.

Motivation often comes after we begin taking action, rather than before. So don't wait until you feel ready to start making changes.

May the Gods guide you and give you strength!

If you'realive and breathing, its not too late. The Gods love you, they want the very best for you, always. Never forget that. Regardless of your emotions, thats an unwavering enduring TRUTH.

Just get back on track, one day at a time. Sounds like you already now what to do. Dwelling on the past and worrying help no one. Clean your aura, chakra work, yoga to move that negative energy out....etc.

Are you an initiate? Know who your Guardian is, and consult with them regularly? Meditate daily? Participate in God Rituals and other activities available on vultustemplorum.org spiritual room?

The upgrades to the temple of Zeus site recently are absolutely amazing, in such an easy to follow format, too! Just start from the beginning...back to basics, build up.

You got this, today is a new day 💪

You're never too late in this path. Don't deny yourself growth. Every achievement is carried over through lifetimes.

The Gods do not get angry like humans do. They will welcome you back always, if your heart is in the right place, which seems like it is by how you speak.

People have already given you the advice needed. Follow the new basic meditation program, step by step rebuild a routine, a small effort each day growing stronger and stronger.

I am an Aspiring God, and so are you.

O Gods of the first dawn, Gods of Hellas and of Khem, of the rivers of Sumer and the snows of the North, of every people that once knelt before the true and the bright:
I declare before You and before the witness of all the heavens that Your Names are restored. Restored truly. Restored rightly. Restored in their power and their majesty and their original splendor.

The Gods do not necessarily get "angry" with people. They are totally above such emotions. We are 100% responsible for our decisions and the path we take in life. A very important note here is that even when depression hits in for various reasons and your life turns around from good to terrible, it is still us who are 100% responsible to improve things even if bad events happen totally outside of our control or decision, unfortunately is just how nature and existence works.. People are not being "watched from above" by anyone, and we have to put in all of the the effort necessary to obtain what we want.

In regards to getting your life back on track, you mentioned that you hit rock bottom in your studies and career, I would think therefore that at some point in the past you was in a much better position? Perhaps you can do what you did back then to reach the level from where you fell. You have the experience already. If by studies you mean formal studies such as university or similar then perhaps you are still in your early 30s or younger? There is definitely still time to improve your life, but the bigger argument here is that, irrespective of your age, trying to improve your life will only reap benefits. It is never too late to try to attract positivity, wealth and other positive outcomes in your life because eventually you will still live to see and enjoy the benefits. Whereas if you give in to total negativity and depression, life will never improve irrespective of age.

Do things to help the Temple and contribute, sustain a daily meditation routine that you should consider as important as brushing one's teeth. If you hit rock bottom, the only way is up.

There is no point in dwelling on what has passed and agonizing endlessly unless you are trying to identify perverse behaviors that need up-rooting.

Feeling the presence of the Gods is a gradual thing that cannot be forced. It does not just come by 'belief'.

This is the targeted message.

Hello 🙏

The Zevist path is about healing ourselves, many people enter with regrets, bad habits and feel lost. Sometimes people fall of the path, it can be due to a myriad of reasons like bad habits or not having deprogrammed enough. The Gods are not angry with you as they understand humanity and the mistakes we can make. It is never too late to get on the right track, your life is precious and your soul is eternal. Everyone deserves the healing of consistent spiritual practice and study 🙏

About motivation, it is very fleeting by nature and can't be relied upon for long term self improvement. You will need to establish consistency, to show up for yourself no matter what your emotions may be, because you know that is the right thing to do for yourself. Thinking this way and believing that you deserve positive and good things can help you overcome the need for motivation to get yourself going, as well as any anxiety since you can trust in your daily efforts to get yourself where you want to be.

It can help to set SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) for yourself to advance your dreams professionally and in your studies, breaking things down into small and more manageable tasks with personal deadlines. Something that helped me a lot in my personal development was performing the Pythagorean Day Meditation, which can be journaled and/or stated as a prayer to your Guardian God (I recommend journaling it first and then reading it to your Guardian in prayer for guidance) as you evaluate yourself daily, objectively, and with lots of self-compassion. The Temple of Zeus website also has a beautiful feature upon logging into your account (with the same credentials you use here) that can help you plan and track a spiritual routine as well. If you aren't already, I recommend joining the Vultus Templorum as it helps a lot to be around Zevists who have walked a similar path and can offer you advice, hear out your doubts, or just a shoulder if you need. Many Zevists share their personal and professional struggles there and help each other stay accountable to ourselves with spiritual and life things, among so much else, it is a beautiful community ✨️

Setbacks may be guaranteed when you try, but failure is guaranteed by never trying 🙏

The Gods are not "angry" with you, and it is not too late. Simply get back on your feet and strive to do more for the temple, things will improve from there on. You must build lots and lots discipline through it all too.

What you are describing is very similar to the fact that you have lost your inner balance, the balance over the management of your life, which is usually disrupted by people who create unpleasant life situations.

The Gods do not block your path, they are open to you, so it is important for you to restore your inner psycho-emotional balance, inner balance and regain control of your life, but even if you have not done this yet, the Gods are always here to help you and guide you, including so that you can cope with difficult life situations circumstances and solve your problems.

You can always ask the Gods to guide you and help you start a new life - to start all over again (if you need it) and firmly embark on the path of Zevism, if you really want it with all your heart and soul. The Gods will never deny you that.

Sometimes life circumstances and people force you to make bad decisions that can turn into a disaster for you and the people around you, sometimes a person's life can be put in such a frame (Zevists are no exception) when a good decision (for everyone) cannot be made, but a bad decision must be made - for example, to survive.

If you soberly evaluate your decisions from the point of view of the Ethics of Zevism, taking into account the circumstances of which you were a hostage, you will see how much the decisions you made were really bad, or vice versa necessary.

On the other hand, it is important to remember that no matter what decisions you made yesterday, today and tomorrow you can always make the best decisions in accordance with the Ethics of Zevism.

«You will find on the left of the halls of Hades a spring, and standing by it a white cypress. Do not approach this spring at all. You will find another, from the Lake of Memory, with cold water flowing from it. Guardians stand before it. Say: 'I am a child of Earth and starry Heaven, but my race is of Heaven alone. You know this yourselves. I am parched with thirst and am perishing. Give me quickly the cold water flowing from the Lake of Memory.' And they will give you to drink from the sacred spring, and after that you will reign among the other heroes» - From the Petelia Tablet (300-200 BCE)
