Period Problems

I honestly am embarrassed about talking about this but I do need help. My mood swings are horrible during my cycle and I get really depressed. I honestly feel like a psycho during this time and I just want to not feel like one. Is there any solutions?

Don't be embarrased. This is totally natural and you are among people here, women especially, who have discussed this situation here.

First of all, how old are you? How long has this been happening? And are there any other symptoms?

Well I’m 24 and it’s been happening for about two years. My depression was much worse when I was on birth control but I have been off it 7 months now. The only reason I was on Birth Control was because I had problems with my cycle starting and it would last two weeks or it would start one week then would skip then start another week. That’s when I found out that I had a cyst on my left ovary. I’ve recently started taking Vitex since I saw it on one of the posts and it’s helped greatly with pain and keeping me on track. And I also take a multivitamin and Tumeric as well. The only thing is just my depression and mood swings that get me still.

Yes as much as I can. Whether it’s at home or at the gym. I also do Hatha yoga as well.

This is going to sound like a dumb question but what is a GP?

Okay so I read my post and I think it may have confused some of us. Please forgive me! After I found out that I had a cyst, which was about 3 years ago, I was put on birth control and I stopped taking it 7 months ago since the pill was making my pain more worse than better. I was told by a fellow Zevist to try something more natural and I happen to look on here and found a post about the Vitex Berry that HP Shannon was mentioning so I tried it and it made a significant change in pain and flow. Along with that, I also take a multivitamin and tumeric as well. The turmeric helps with pains I get here and there. I also try to do regular exercise whether it’s at the gym or at home. I also do Hatha Yoga and should be starting kundalini yoga soon. My main problem is just with my mood swings and depression during the cycle.

GP is "general practitioner", another name for doctor. Although in this case a specialist would be a better choice than general.

@unnamed Zevist, most doctors tend to prescribe the birth control pill when a woman's cycle is off, which is harmful. And Catrman1997 probably did see a doctor, assuming this is how her ovarian cyst was discovered. It's good to look into alternative options, not just what the doctors are used to prescribing, which often does not fix the problem.

Hi sister, sorry for the late response.

Them giving you a birth control after finding out you had a cyst and irregular menstrual cycles was not a good idea. It usually never is. Especially if it made you feel worst, which shows it shifts the hormones in an disruptive manner.

Do you still have the cyst?

After being off the birth control, your hormones are more than likely still imbalanced since you are having depression and mood swings.

Do you get menstrual cramps?

How long have you been taking the vitex? It is slow acting and mild. If you recently started, like a month of two again, you may need a bit more time.

What kind/brand of multivitamin are you taking?

Is your diet average and of the standard american diet?

If you are actively exercising and doing the yoga, you still may need some time, or better yet, a boost. I may have something to recommend to you that will help. Or maybe a natural and effective progesterone cream.

Honestly, I’m not too sure. I don’t exactly trust the doctors around here. My cycles have been flowing regularly and I haven’t had any issues with irregularity except the mood swings and depression. My cramps are horrible a week before and 3 days into my cycle. But I will say they aren’t as bad as they were when I was on the pill. I’ve been taking the Vitex for about two months but I was told to only take it when I’m on my cycle. I’m taking a women’s multivitamin that is non-gmo and is made from raw Whole Foods and it’s by Garden of life. It’s called Vitamin Code Women. For my diet, I try to eat all the food groups and moderate the bad stuff. But any other suggestions would help honestly, going natural isn’t always easy.

I don't mean to nitpick over a word, but perhaps there was a misunderstanding due to it, as the "cycle" is the entire month (hence the word cycle), not just the period itself. Ovulation, leading to menstruation, and then leading to ovulation again, is a cycle.

So perhaps when you were told to take it on your cycle, they meant, for the entire cycle.

HPS Shannon has written in depth here in this subforum about Vitex, it is to be taken daily or at least in a cycle of itself, not just when you are on your period.

I really must have misunderstood because I thought when cycle meant the period itself. Thanks for clearing that up for me, Lydia! :)

Check out HPS Shannon's posts, just type "vitex" into the search bar for her posts about taking it. It really fixed my cycle and had other benefits for me :)

What about talking to maybe Lord Buer about this? He's way more advanced than our common doctors in the medical field.

I don't know, my brother. Maybe. It is up to HER NOW. OF course, through Satan, she can respectfully ask the assistance of the Gods specialized in health care. Now, if a God will heal her with His energy or guide her way and steps to good doctors and/or treatment, - this sort of ASPECTS - I DON'T KNOW. But definitely she needs to speak with the Gods (through Satan!!), beforehand for guidance and support.

HAIL ZEUS Sister, This can be a little overwhelming, so I'll say this. 1. Stretching I understand, but in terms of that yoga is necessary( which is stretching), so in that way that is useless to mention as it is needed.

Secondly she isn't delicate as I know who this Zevism member is. She has talked to Buer regarding all this, so in all honesty she has his full guidance and help. The cyst is gone according to him, and he recommended change of diet, and a more healthy satanic lifestyle, provided she stayed true to the course. High Priestess Shannon mentioned they shouldn't have given @Cartman1997 the birth control pills when it clearly caused some issues in the long run. The gods know what they are doing, so we can trust them to full extent.

thank you so much for the update, if it is sorted already I am MORE THAN HAPPY. Thank you once again. My best regards

Sorry, for the late response. The fact that you are having mood swings and depression, as well as cramps means that you still have an imbalance.

In many cases like yours, the Vitex is to be taken everyday. Preferably in the morning with alittle water. You need to take it everyday for it to have the maximum effect. As I said, the Vitex is mild.

Another thing you can try is this. The link shows where you can get it. Different online vendors.

https://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&client=ms-android-metropcs-us&source=android-browser&q=progesta

This should help you alot.
