Can someone describe to me in details our views of perfection? What it is, if it's a thing, etc. I'm a little confused because we all have different views of what perfection is and if we were all perfect than we would all basically be machines. We wouldn't be unique. We wouldn't be what makes every human a human, different. Thanks.

Being better then the person you were before (whether it be from 6 months ago, 6 years ago, etc.), in mind, body and soul. Being the best you can be. Doing the best you can everyday.

Comparing yourself not to others (although it's only natural to do so) but by the person you used to be.

That's the best yardstick to measure by, in my personal opinion. Let others inspire you and give you advice but don't compare yourself only to them. I guess that is what I am trying to say.
Look at yourself everyday in the mirror and see a hero in the making, or a hero already. Especially since you are a dedicated Spiritual Satanist that is fighting to make this world a better place.
Along with doing consistent power meditation, kundalini yoga and achieving Godhead, that is my *personal* description of perfection. I guess I made it sound formulaic but I believe it can be applied to everyone who is dedicated and willing to work hard, be consistent and disciplined.
I would love to hear other people's thoughts too. ^.^

No, it's about spiritual and physical immortality as well as spiritual powers.
I'm not sure where you got that we would be machines. On the contrary, it's quite the opposite. Because most people haven't reached spiritual perfection, they are like machines and act out conditioned patterns from their past. Just observe people and you'll see they have set patterns in the ways they act or react that they repeat without just choosing what's best for the situation. Perfection also means that you are adjusted to life and instead of acting out those mechanical patterns you are free of this sort of "karma".

Not to mention that now people are like machines because you can almost predict their behaviors or things that's gonna happen to them e.t.c. by astrology. If a person becomes perfected, he'll be free of fate and fated events, so astrology will not be able to predict anything about him.
So yeah, really, it's quite the opposite of what you said: People are like machines now, because they act out conditioned behaviors. Even that it's not true because they don't act at all, they just react with specific reactions to things even though those reactions might be counterproductive. That's why we have the expression "push their buttons" which is clearly a mechanical analogy, like "he pushes his buttons and makes him angry, scared e.t.c.". They are governed by fate too.
A perfected human being doesn't react in conditioned ways, he chooses the best behavior for the situation. He is flexible. He is free of fate. He's totally free in everything.

Also, what you said about machines not being unique that's not true at all. If it was true, then a laptop would also toast bread and cook food. Of course they don't, each machine is designed for different things so it's unique.
The characteristics of a machine isn't not being unique, but they are the predictability of its actions, repetitiveness and its conditioned nature. A machine will basically do the same things and will keep doing the same things you programmed it. That's why I said most humans are like machines now, they just keep doing the same things. A perfected being won't be have these sort or rigid conditioned patterns from his past.

I agree with Magus, to me it seems perfection is when you achieve the Magnum opus, as it....makes one perfect ^_^

Oh yeah I never thought I it that way. I was thinking of perfection as something else lol but thank you for explaining :)
