Hi, everyoneI wanted to ask, especially those who love making arts.I knew a friend who once painted Guan Yin, and before he painted her, he(the friend of mine) pray to the goddess first, asking for permission. During the painting proccess, he feast and burn incences. He told me, that is how you paint with magick. I believe he was not an SS. He just grew up in pagan family.Has anyone ever did something like this? Do we need to feast and burn incense to paint a demon or a demoness? Thank you in advance.

I began painting portraits of the Gods by painting one of my GD for myself. He suggested I should paint all the Gods. I said yes I will. Satan communicated to me through a dream (I'd been working on two preliminary sketches of two other Gods) put those aside, you're painting ME next. HPS Maxine has said when approaching a God you haven't before, to go through Satan. Well, I'd forgotten that, so Satan made sure I did so by stepping in and telling me to paint HIM, vetting me out Himself first. After which He gave me His go ahead to approach any of the other Gods.
When I begin a new portrait I still address them and say this is my intention, ask the God in question if they are ok with this and for their imput. I ask if they would please let me know if there is anything I put into your portrait you want me to correct, let me know what you would like and I'll do my best to give it to you. I know when they are helping me because when it happens there is no time spent debating and wondering what to do next. The information is just there; I get pictures in my minds eye, often I have to work fast to keep up with what I'm being given. Hours pass like minutes. And what happens (for me anyways) is that there comes a point in the work where the portrait 'animates' in my third eye and I 'see' the God/Goddess looking back out at me.
What I'm saying is that it is best to ask permission of the God in question first, going through Satan. Its a matter of respect and being polite, and that way when they have said sure, go ahead they'll help guide your vision so you get an accurate representation. Thats been my experience, anyways.
I don't fast and burn incense though.

Thank you so much it helps :)

I like burning incense when painting. Feasting not so much, especially because I live with my parents, if I did not eat then my mom would know something is wrong with me. Thank you so much, Fancy :) I want to make some art about paganism, especially Hinduism because it’s the pagan religion from where I live. I’ve been thinking about this for a loooong time but haven’t done any.

Do you like feasting and burning incense? If not, then no, you don't need to.
