Interesting ... how do you crucify a thoughtform anyway? LOL
The jehovah's witnesses have always insisted that the nazarene was "impaled" (shades of Vlad the Impaler anyone?) on an upright post. Their illustrations did not show a traditional impalement however, but that the nazarene was 'nailed' to the upright with something that looks like a railroad spike through its feet and another through the wrists, with its arms raised over its head.
These debates about the death of someone who never existed in the first place always have a humorous side, at least to us, but they do serve one practical purpose as well: they further divide the xtian community and that is a good sign.
