hey i am totally new to this group and would like some help in understanding it . i used to sit in church in the back row and wonder if there really was a god and if satan had anything at all do to with this big plan. so i know some teachings of anton lavey but would like to know the difference between your and his and if it is any thing to it i am a HUGE fan of marilyn manson and would like opinions only on him and not bashings as you all seem like a well informed group. thanx and i look forward for multiple replys back

The difference between the teachings of Anton Lavey and Spiritual Satanism is that his teachings are of indulging into the so called 7 "sins" and to him, Satan is simply an archetype, a symbol of power whereas we acknowledge and/or worship Satan and his demons as literal spiritual beings that want us to achieve our own spiritual power to reach godhead through consistent meditation. They are our friends and quite a few have communicated with those who are psychically open and powerful enough after performing consistent power meditation.

Christianity is simply a programme to remove spiritual power and knowledge from the populace for the benefit of the few. None of it is true in any way, simply ripoffs of older pagan religions.

Marilyn Manson probably wasn't a Spiritual Satanist and even if he was, he wouldn't release the news to the media as we all know, the media is christian run basically. He's most likely got attracted to the views of Anton Lavey and identified himself as that kind of Satanist.

ok so you worship an actual being where as he worships the essence of him? and doesnt this empowerment reach the same intended goal? im sorry its just that i believe christianity's main flaw is that they separate themselves in there sects and this diversifies their beliefs which has always seems to be against their teachings of christ. But i thought that satanism would be more accepting of the theory as well as the entity worshipping and why? i believe that the advancement in christianity is based on how "holy" a man is which is rediculous and i was under the impression that satanism was based on the advancement through how "intellectual" a person was? if i am wrong in any way tom plz reply soon . also my friend beside me says that satan was cast out of heaven because he wished to become more intelligent than god and that is where the basis of this idea comes from since it is seen throughout the bible as did he cast out adam and eve for eating the fruit of "knowledge of good and evil" is this a pattern? and is he right?thnx for the info
