Hello I am new to Satanism and have a few questions. Mostly I am trying to make an effort to discern the true from the false as I have heard contradicting information from different sources.
For several years I considered myself a devotee of Hecate and I was also "introduced" to the occult as a devotee of Hecate and everything that I ever asked for or wanted from Hecate manifested itself with alarming speed, however I was introduced to Hecate through wicca and wicca never did a damned thing for me but create more and more questions that did not have answers and when I did ask questions I was treated with scorn and filled with propoganda that I knew instinctually was horse crap.
I then discovered another group of people who were spiritual satanists and thought that I would investigate further and I began invoking Enki and the energies I felt were astounding and wonderful and also seemed to match what my instincts had been telling me all along.
Whenever I even thought about Enki every color seemed brighter and the material world it'self seemed almost fluid as if it could be bent or manipulated at will. I had similar experiences with Hecate although not quite as extreme in the past.
The group that I have been working with as a new spiritual Satanist seems to be in opposition to this group. I am not here to cause a problem but to make an informed choice as to who is right weighed against my critical thinking skills and what I feel Father Satan tells me.
I dedicated my self to Satan recently but refuse to blindly follow a path created by people who I don't know are credible are not.
My allegiance is with Satan and looking back I have known this since I was a small child.
One of the questions I have is regarding Hecate, as I have been told by this other group that she does not exist and is just a thoughtform created by a cult in ancient Greece.
I am too inexperienced at this time to know either way, beyond my own personal experiences.
I follow Enki or Satan, and am faced with conflicting information, not just on this topic, but on a few. I am here to hear both sides of the story, as I am not a sheep and do not choose to accept what I have heard so far as fact without doing further research.
I can tell you however that from what I have seen so far of this other group, something seems amiss.

Do they bash other Satanists, like us for example? Are they politically correct? Do they tolerate christianity, islam or judaism? If the answer is yes to any of this questions then they are not true Satanists. Its obvious from the Al-Jilwah that Satan wants unity and from the Goetia and further research if you do that the Original Gods abhor the jews. And they call themselves spiritual Satanists? JoS is the first to use the term "Spiritual Satanism" as it was dictated by Satan Himself directly when it "opened" in 2002.

I have dealt with Hecate from time to time, and I would say she is more that a thought form. Also, I have read here before, (I think it was from a member of the clergy, but it was a while ago.) that Hecate is real, and that she is neither an angel, or one of Satan's demons. She stands on her own, and is not against Satan in the liest.
