New Member (long post)

Greetings all,
My name is Chris, I'm 22 living in Louisville, KY. I really dont even know how to start this but ima give it a whack. Pretty much until within the past year i was a christian. i grew up in a christian household went to church atleast twice a week all that. I joined the military 2 years ago and thats when i started doubting faith and religion. Long story short i became an atheist. But i know theres something else goin on in the world and we are here for a reason and not just outta chance so I guess that doesnt make me an atheist either so I have no idea what i am. I was doing some research today and found that i am really interested in satanism and its beliefs and ideals. I think this is something positive that could help my life out a lot and is something that i have needed for a long time. I am planning on dedicating myself either today or tomorrow but before i do that i would like to know how you practice satanism and become a true satanist instead of someone who just does the dedication and just sees what happens. I know theres not any mediators but a teacher or something would really help out. I really want to do this but i dont think i can do it all on my own, maybe im just nervous or something like i said i really dont even know how to word what im feeling or what i want to say. But any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly.
