Regarding Imhotep, I was told by the Gods while writing NOT to conflate Him as being Asclepius. The identification of the two was due to cultural factors between the Greeks and Egyptians so either could understand, not them being the exact same being. There are a number of these cases that can lead people astray if they take things literally, so beware of this.
