New Deciple

Hello everyone, I just though I'd say hello and introduce myself to the group if thats ok?

Let me first start by saying that up until about 2 days ago I was a full blown atheist and had very little time for this sort of thing. That is until I came across the JOS website and I must say at first I was intrigued. So I started to delve a little deeper into the beliefs of Spiritual Satanists and was surprised to find myself not skeptical, but believing.
After reading through several pages of the website and skimming through various topics on this group, I have decided to take the next step and give my self whole heartedly to our father and am hoping (after acquiring the supplies needed) to make the commitment to Satan as soon as Saturday (after payday ).
Its amazing to think that I've gone my whole life (so far 24 years) struggling and not knowing how to better and improve myself, when it was so simple.

In closing, I would ask if there is anything anyone can tell me on how to be a good servant and what I should do after dedicating myself.

Your story is so typical - an atheist who saw that xianity is shit, than negated all spirituality (in the xian sense, which is a non-existent one) and stumbled upon JoS.

One begins reading, delving into it and suddenly realises it is the thing one has longed for his or her entire life.

Thank you for the warmwelcome
Its really quite strange as when I was an atheist, I still had a slightly spiritual side and tried meditations and similar exercises with little or no end effect.

However since 'converting' (thats sounds so...useless) I tried meditation again and for the first time, I actually managed to enter a state of trance.
It might seem small to someone experienced in these things but I brought myself round and am really quite proud of myself lol.

The change in my outlook on life have been almost instant since finding JOS.

Thank you, I will try that. I'm not sure how much luck I'll have with astral projection. I've tried it before and it never seemed to work. I will look more into constructing my astral temple and will post up my results.
