hello all, i am a newcomer to satanism....very curious and adamant about joining for particular reasons. firstly its been far too long that i have not been rewarded for my hard work....ive put in 6 years in the army, 3 combat tours and not one single piece of action has happened to me on any of the hundreds of combat missions ive been on. ive trained and worked out so i can further my physical condition as best as i can. now that i read all of this info on satanism being the real deal, satan being the true loving god and how he rewards you and listens to you...i am beginning to think i should convert....ultimately i just want a demon companion i can establish a loving/sexual relationship with.....although to convert i need to perform the ritual....i cant really do that over in afghanistan at the moment. but i would love to hear some real experiences and stories to help me and encourage me.

Dedicate yourself when you can. And until you can study and read joyofsatan.org. It has everything you need to know. I've been with Father and dedicated since about July now and at first it may seem like nothing will come from it. But as you meditate and empower yourself things will get better. And from personal experience after your first true ritual to him things get so much better. Cause he knows you're here to truly empower yourself and gain spiritual and intellectual knowledge. After my first ritual I truly felt like I was smarter and full of much more wisdom. If you've been brought here and you know what you've learned and read about is the right path then pursue SS. Its not for everyone but from what I've heard and feel if you were brought here then you are here for a reason. Good luck brother and I hope to hear in the future that you dedicated and are empowering yourself.

ahh yes i have read(not all) of joy of satan.org and i want to say im almost fully dedicated to converting. the problem is though....im overseas right now and can not perform the ritual for lack of mats...is there any other way i can perform the ritual without candles? or a dry pen? can i use my finger to write my name in blood?
Yes, you can do the dedication without materials. there are two ways, either you can perform the ritual in your astral temple, or you can perform the service by writing in blood with your finger (doesn't have to be much blood) on a piece of paper and burn it in a lighter of a fire of some sort, or keep it with you until you can burn it in the properly colored candle. Our Father Satan is very understanding and he will understand if you are not able to perform the ritual with the proper materials. Personally i have not been able to perform the ritual yet, due to being a junior in high school and having very strict parents. so i performed it in my astral temple but I'm not sure it worked. so i will be doing it when Satan or Zazel tells me i'm ready.
Remember, Father is very understanding and does not require you to have the recommended materials. Good luck, and let us know how things are going.

(I may have misunderstood you, but you gave emphasis on that, so I'm just saying...)You will realize how REAL Spiritual Satanism is, and that we must all fight in this war (not a physical, but a spiritual one) so that humanity can finally see the Truth, and return to Our Gods. 
Anyway, about your question, what is it that you lack?You can do it in your astral temple if you're good at visualization and the like but if you're not (at the beginning, I know I wasn't ) you can write the prayer on a paper (do the pricking of your finger as it says on the site) and burn it. You don't need a bell or an athame or a chalice if you can't find (or afford) any. You don't even need a burning bowl if you can't find any, you could do it someplace where no one will see you, somewhere that there is solid ground (not forest!) and the paper will burn itself and not cause any harm. Do not worry about the items if it's not possible for you to find them. There're always ways to do things.
