When doing rituals or other things satanism related is it okay to use a pencil rather than a pen at any time for things that involve writing anything down on paper?

Just a small thing I curious about that is why I wanna know.

One reason I ask is cuz I sometimes misplace my pens and lose them by mistake easily sometimes.

That's good to know as in some places they are cheaper which is good to know if I ever need writing tools and am ever low on cash.
I not sure but I think they are cheaper in some stores
