There is one thing I can't seem to get on top of and that is my consistent lower back pain! I know its nothing like a bad disc or something but I need as much advice or methods or exercises or ANYTHING to help me out! I don't know if I need to do 'posture' exercises or 'inner core muscle' exercises or do them both along with some healing meditation?

I can't sit for about an hour to 3 hours without back pain, It's so f#$%^ing annoying!

AS much or any help will be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like it could be a touch of Siatica. The following website may be helpful :

http://www.siatica.co.uk/

It does sound like sciatica. I, too, have problems in that area, along with other spinal problems caused by too many auto/equestrian mishaps, falls, etc. I keep everything 'in line' with reflexology. It usually takes a few days to see results, but it really does work, at least for me, and if you do it regularly (every day or every other day) it can help considerably.

There's lots of sites on the web, including foot/hand charts. And there's also books. Just Google it.

Don't neglect exercise, either. Yoga stretches are good for this sort of thing.

I have had back problems as well, ever since I strained myself at work. My back doesn’t always hurt because I have gotten used to the idea that I can’t use it like I used too. It is a hard one to heal, you back that is, I was told that if you don’t have a set of six-pack abs you don’t even have a back, when it comes to lifting ANYTHING. You probably just strained it like I did. There wasn’t even anything on the X-ray, I just pulled and strained the muscles in my back (Center), that pain was so bad I couldn’t hardly breath, I would get woken up in the middle of the night in pain. I was prescribed by the workman’s comp doctor some pain killers, and muscle relaxers. Just sit down on the couch, prop your feet up on a footrest, put some pillows behind your back, use a heating pad if you have one, take a HOT shower and let it hit your back, take something for it, sit with your back strait and don’t move. Have someone bring you what you need, only get up to use the restroom. Here is some good advice that has worked for me, consciously use your legs, and your arms when you can, pretend your back is glass and you don’t want to break it. Stretch before any exertion including driving somewhere, warm your back up in a sense as most strains happen in cold weather. Sometimes as you said sitting down too long can hurt you as well, ok, then before it starts to hurt too much get up and stretch walk around, my manager has the same issue.   I hope that helps. HAIL SATAN!!

Depends on how low the back pain is i guess. like all the way to the tail bone of your spine.
Cracking wont make it any better, I really recomend that you dont, you will wear out the cushion between the vertabre that way. Have you visited the doctor about this?

I should have mentioned this in my earlier post, instead, I wrote about what works for me, but you should seriously consider seeing a doctor and/or chiropractor. A proper diagnosis, for one thing, would help you decide on what course of treatment to follow.

I am a huge proponent of natural, holistic healing methods, but we shouldn't neglect allopathic medicine either. It has saved many, many lives and improved the quality of life for even more.
