Thank you also for your reply RoknRaptor, Yes unfortunately most of the books that have survived have been corrupted over time It's quite hard to find books that have not been altered to some degree I see what you mean about how many texts are filled with allegories one could not begin to interpret what these texts truley mean with out the guidance of our Gods/Goddesses. I will definitely meditate on this matter further. I also have found much help with runes especially sun runes, Very very powerful to say the least RAUM as well as VAUM are two of my personal favorites.
The energies of the Necronomicon and it's power are indeed something one must get a feel for. I remember it stating in the beginning of John Dee's copy that the book and the names as well as rituals contained inside had not been properly performed for thousands of years.I plan on studying this book further,I also always seek to get to the core , the black or the negredo stage the source of creation and I also feel black represents the purest and rawest form of the center or core and we certainly want the purest most uncorrupted knowledge we can get. Especially after so much has been destroyed & altered.HAIL SATAN

There are shared stories across cultures with their own spin on things. At some point though, each culture over a period of time will put a new spin on the same thing within the confines of their culture, religion or political influence. For example its just an allegory pointing at things like the Rising Kundalini and Atlantis, which in themselves are like allegories that feed into each other.
So you have the idea of a rising serpent, a rising dragon, a rising city from the water, or even Cthulu rising from the waters. There are many more myths out there with the same theme, depending on where you look. Ultimately I think you should ask this question... do you want to continue to empower yourself with someone elses Mythology or do you just want to Empower yourself with your own? Nothing wrong with using others myths. I find that the Runes are a great starter, but I find myself looking past all that to get to even their very core.
My only advice for you to become acquainted with the energies of the Necronomicon and to ask the Gods to Guide you in that experience. But to also ask to bring you to the blackest levels of those energies and to show you the real meaning behind its uncorrupted version.
