Which ones are you favorite verses in mythology?

I'm curious to see... I think it will be an interesting Thread.

Odysee 1, 32-34:

"Ah, how shamelessly mortals blame the Gods!
For they say evils come from us,
whereas they themselves, through their own folly, suffer beyond what is ordained".

From Lord Zeus, a real building block of logic and wisdom.

The Iliad, Book XXII

Achilles, musing as he roll'd his eyes

O'er the dead hero, thus unheard, replies:

"Die thou the first! When Jove and heaven ordain,

I follow thee"—He said, and stripp'd the slain.

You referred to is as being really from God Zeus. Are quotes from iliad & odyssey confirmed from the Gods?

Are those two read just as a work of art or considered like a holy scripture. Are the tips and value inside of them aligning with Gods or is it to be read with a skeptical mind?
