My Story

My story beings just over a year ago. I was a 21 year old with no religious beliefs whatsoever. I was raised in an extreme pentecostal home since I was an infant and lived with that abuse for 18 years. I joined the military shortly afterwards and was later deployed.

The day I left the states, I so happened to look on the ground and saw a small metal ring with a pentagram engraved on it. At the time I thought it was just a touch of irony so I picked it up and kept it with me.

I fought in several battles over a fifteen month period and came very close to death several times. After each one I felt in my pocket and that little ring was with me. Not knowing anything about the Zevist religion I began to research it in my spare time and was enthralled with what I learned.

I came away from that experience with something greater than anything anyone could give me. For the first time in my life, I felt I had something I could depend on besides myself, and for that I am eternally grateful.
