Two people died in a 'sweat lodge' ceremony in Sedona Arizona on Friday at a place called Angel Valley Resort (that should be warning enough).

The guy who runs this place has made bank on selling his crap ideas, co opting spiritual practices from other cultures, and stealing ideas from 70's cults.

These orgs claim they will teach you how to bring abundance and wealth into your life, but basically line their own pockets and take no responsibility for their potentially damaging teachings. I love when one of these fools goes down as much as when an xian clergy member gets caught in scandal.

This is typical new age crap. I really despise it. It comes cloaked in all this supposedly wonderful 'gift wrap' and it's nothing more than another version of the xtian hoax, designed especially for those who are fed up with xtianity & it's relatives. Such people think they are making a huge leap forward when they are only miring themselves even further in the muck!

A huge give-away, as is traditional xtianity etc., is some self-appointed 'guru' lining its pockets while their befuddled followers do not benefit one whit from their schemes.

Sweat lodges are thousands of years old and are an integral part of many Native American cultures. I do not say that they should be confined to those cultures because some people who are not of the First Nations in this lifetime still, because of past lifetimes (or perhaps even future lifetimes, who knows? ...) are very drawn to them. In this case, however, they do not usually just pay their money and jump in; on the contrary, they work with a shaman who has already studied for years. (It really does take a very long time to become a shaman; in some Nations, such a one is not even considered 'adult' until in their early 50's, for that reason; there is so much to learn and so many experiences that need to be under one's belt first.)

Yeah those dumbasses are seriously retarded! They used a damm plastic tarp. I've been to a sweat lodge cermony to see what it was like. When I built my own you must never ever use any plastics and even some metals since they can give off very toxic chemicals and cause death almost instantly.we used nothing but natural handmade things. Those idiots desered what they get by going to a freaking con artist. It makes me sick. That cermony was never supposed to be one you pay for. It's free and open to anyone native or not in some traditions and is to honor your ancestors if they be white Mexican native or whatever. And this is just a bad publicity on how dangerous thsesthinge nuts are messing with a ancient cermony that's not for dumbasses! I know Satan is dualy laughing at their small brains and disgusted at the damage they did to a people who used this cermony as a respectful way towards their faith. Which of course now is being bashed by xians again. Hail Satan
