missing a day

Personally, I have a very crazy schedule due to a demanding job, But I really try to make time for my meditations. Sometimes I don't have time to do them all in a row, so I split them up and do them at different times during the day. Having said that I ALWAYS make time for my Kundalini Yoga (around 60min), breathing exercises (20min) and chakra work (10min) - these are my essential basics.

I am still getting used the depth of this increased spiritual practice. Some days it really wears me out (not to mention I workout professionally) and I'm still getting to know and understand different (and new) sides of my physical and mental Self.

I see Power Meditations as an essential (and daily) practice.

hey guys was curious, what happpens of you miss just one day of power meditation?

Well, as I understand from the JoS site, it's a huge set-back in progress and that the results that you had are really difficult to regain.

I'm not sure if it was meant to be interpreted in that way, so I suggest you take this with a grain of salt.

It's best you make up for the day lost.

I'm thinking: if your regular meditations program doesn't include vibration, you can make up for that day by vibrating. But, it's best to just vibrate everyday, because vibration is very powerful.

No one was able to explain the difference between vibration and chant, yet, though.

Meditation really needs to be done daily. Unfortunately, there may be the occasional time when we don't for any number of reasons. The main thing, as the old saying goes, is to "get right back on the horse", e.g., because you missed on Tuesday doesn't mean you have to miss on Wednesday.

Another thing that was once brought to my attention and which I have found very helpful is that (again using an example): if your meditations usually take, say, an hour, but something is preventing you from spending the usual hour, then do an abbreviated version, even if it's only 10-15 minutes.

Remember that, like exercise, meditation is cumulative so it may be helpful to break your meditations into several smaller sessions if you can't do it all at once. It's not been my favorite way to get it done but it DOES get it done. At least it's a viable alternative.

Neither of the above suggestions are my favorite ways to meditate but they DO help to make sure that it gets done when our regular meditation routine gets upset.

Hope that helps a little.
