Mindfulness practices worked well for me, but the new Awareness Meditations section in the ToZ website has helped me much more and way faster.
I recommend
The Pythagorean Day Meditation each night and many of the other Awareness Meditations when you can, it not only de-stresses you but fast-tracks your spiritual advancement (sensing energy, developing focus, etc)
this one helped me a lot to be more mindful and unite my mind with my body and soul
