I'm going to be upfront, I like weed. Recently though, I've been having extremely vivid visions when I get high, and I mean beyond the typical euphoria. For example, I sometimes see symbols, one of them being a square, with a neon orange outline, with a triangle floating above it, with the same color scheme. The inside of these shapes is dark blue, and it's in a sky blue background. Another image I keep seeing, this one apparently not a symbol, is I'm in some sort of huge corridor or entrance to a temple-type building, the floor is made of silver, with what are sometimes diamonds and at other times quartz crystals strewn everywhere, and a plush velvet carpet running down the middle of the floor. Usually there's an Evergreen or two growing nearby. The building itself is made out of silver, with two huge doors partially opened, letting a blinding white light spill out. At first I just thought it was the ganja and an overactive imagination causing this, but the persistency of these visions, along with the breathtaking beauty, the sense of comfort, warmth and tranquility, coupled with the deeply spiritual overtones, as I have many times felt my chakras vibrate and have felt as if I was disconnected from my body, has me wondering if there's not more to it. Another thing that really caught me off guard is that I've had relatively similar experiences on the rare occasions when I attempted astral projection. Finally, to wrap it all up, I've encountered what seems to be a guide of some sort, his name's Merkevah from what he tells me; he has olive skin, hazel eyes, and long brown hair combed straight back. He appears to be of average height and is rather friendly. I've met him several times when I was trying to project and sometimes when I was high. I know, all this could probably be dismissed a a LSD/weed trip, but I feel like it goes so much deeper than that. As a note, this hasn't started happening until recently, as in, prior to a couple months ago, none of this happened on the occasions when I smoked, which was a lot, regardless of what type of weed I was smoking or how much. These vision things just started happening out of the blue. Anyway, some insight as to wtf is going on would be greatly appreciated. If it is just a side effect of whatever I'm smoking, great; if it's actually something spiritual, even better.

Well firstly doing weed messes up your aura and chakra so I wouldn't do that anymore if you wish to advance spiritually. I don't know who you're talking about and I've never heard of him whatsoever. Anyway weed isn't good for you so I wouldn't keep doing that if I were you.

Drugs are not good for you spiritually, mentally, or physically. They screw with your hormones and are known to decrease male sperm count. I used drugs in my early teens and felt similar to you, as though I were becoming more spiritually aware by using them. But it is all a facade.

I use marijuana often as well. Probably more than I should, but after nearly a decade of using it's hard not to anymore.

I noticed that during meditation while under the influence of marijuana I sometimes perceive the experience differently. Your experience isn't all that different from my own in some ways. Often I will find myself much easier to access my higher or exterior chakra while under the influence, as it allows me to enter a deeper trance state sometimes completely out of body trance without attempting to. One of the major flaws with smoking and meditating is that while under the influence your perception and judgement is not going to be as acute compared to when sober. This may not seem like a huge deal, but if you are experiencing out of body episode, and your meditating on your higher self or soul this can be a fatal error. Higher tier chakra are sensitive, and can be easily damaged. Even if the marijuana allows you to access these energies there is a chance that you will cause damage to your own soul in doing so because your mind is not completely focused. Also as people stated before your energy vibrations will be lowered, this can cause you to be vulnerable to spiritual attacks. I myself have participated in spiritual combat due to meditating and projecting to a higher plane while under the influence. I'm rather experienced in Spiritual Combat and was able to come out of the attack alive and for the most part unharmed, but I will contend the concept of using marijuana and mixing in spiritual alchemy as a fatal error in judgement as the risk out weigh the gains.
