Lately, I've had the time, but not the motivation to meditate and truly advance myself spritually. I want to. But I just can't get motivated.

I practice Chinese Martial arts, and you would think that with the spiritual qualities it holds, that would help me a lot. But I'm still not motivated.

I think it's possibly because I'm focusing purely on Chinese Martial arts, because its my passion and destiny in life. These martial arts are what I'm supposed to do with my life, I know this because I can feel it with every single fiber of my being. However I want to advance spiritually as well. This is something that would help me greatly in mastering the style's that I've chosen to learn. However I'm having trouble getting motivated enough to do it.

Another reason may be, because I'm trying my hardest to find a way to get to this school in China, its located in the mountains where I can learn the style of my choice, and will be training five hours a day. I was thinking there I could meditate daily and it would be so easy because of the area I will be in.

Which just got me thinking, maybe its the energy in this house that's keeping me from getting motivated.

What do you guys/gals think? Any solutions you may have?

That's an honorable passion my friend,as it requires great discipline to practice martial arts.
I'm sure as a martial artist you know that the Chinese martial arts are pretty much modernized. The true origins of martial arts originated from the far east.Much of the original knowledge has been lost in time, thus divided into arts like modern Wing Chun, Muay Thai and etc.For example, the books of the 18 Shaolin Lohan Fists are partly lost, obviously the complete version is never available to practitioners nowadays.
However, what if i tell you that as you advance Spiritually, you would be able to acquire such lost knowledge?Do you think that would raise your interest in advancing spiritually? To me, martial arts and the practice of spirituality as in SS are interconnected. It is apparent when you read a section about the Gods of Hell, there is a patron of martial arts. (find it..)
What would you think when a Demon comes to your dream/astral,trains you, spars with you and teaches you new moves?
Trust me, i know someone who experiences those.Ask Father Satan for guidance. You've got the fire in you, you just make power meditation a habit just like practicing martial arts.Take care Champion!

I understand the last part really well. I was stationed on a ship and there is a big aura of negative energy from all the stress and drama. I had to fight myself to maintain the motivation to meditate after a long day at work.
I recommend using the rune Isa to help you with your focus, and void meditation.
