Depends on how you use it, if you just say it and not vibrate every single word of it it would have no effects. I used that a year ago and vibrated into my pineal gland and was very powerful, more powerful than other pineal gland mantras. And like others said the mainstream version of it is corrupted. The correct way is much like the humming breath, you vibrate each word until you're out of breath:

You can know that either from Satan or by testing them. Most of them have a small corruption, like using "om" instead of Aum, "lam" instead of "laum" e.t.c. but otherwise they are correct. I've found Sanskrit Mantras relating to the elements, Sanskrit Mantras for Zodiac Signs and Sanskrit Mantras for various magickal purposes like "maran uttanthan(I probably messed this Sanskrit word up)" that are used in black magick to kill and destroy your enemies. I've tested many of them and they see correct. You'll find it fascinating that there are Sanskrit mantras for pretty much everything.

The people who teach these mantras have absolutely no freaking idea what powers the mantras contain. Rather, they are taught more from the point of fashion. Jut like new age yoga.
