Lightning Invocation(?)

Hey guys, I was just thinking about the elements and the ability to invoke one. It seems that a step to invoking an element is to visualize yourself being in an environment respective to that element, such as with fire, you would visualize a large bonfire and feel it and all.

Now, my question is, does lightning count as an own element, or is it under the category of fire/air or something? And would it be invoke-able if I just visualize myself in the center of a storm cloud and do everything the same as with the other elements, and just concentrate on feeling the shit?

Thanks in advance, and I'm sorry if this is a double post but the first one didn't seem to come through, even after a week or a bit less.

I personally found it is very simmilar to air, but I must add I am still in the early stages of my spiritual growth.
There are many members here who are much more advanced than me, still in the meditations I did with lightning it certainly felt to me it had it's own unique energy. However it more or less felt like a hyper ampt up version of the air element.

When there is a big thunder storm I often try to meditate on the energy there, namely the lightning, as that is one of the most powerful energies present naturally on earth. It literally gives me a shock through my body, openens up my senses like no other elemental energy does and just feels very pleasant.

I don't know how it works when you immerse yourself in the energy when there is no storm present.
Fire, earth, water and air are the 4 basic elemental energies, you can always invoke them and evoke them.
I don't think Lightning works that way, as like I said, it feels to me like it is an aspect of the element air.

I don't know how that can be. Far as I can tell the 4 elements tie into the 4 states of matter, fire=plasma, Earth=solid, Wind=gas water=liquid.Lightning to me feels more like the fire element and I play with electricity alot. Perhaps you invoked both?

Thanks, Luka. I was already having the idea that it might be a sub-element branching from one of the 4 base elements, and you helped me with understanding it a little more. Now that I think about it, it does seem quite a bit obvious that lightning would be of the air element, since it, well, descends from up there!

I believe that if I were to invoke air, lightning would simply be a part of it, too. Just like if I were to invoke water, it would make sense if I could control blood, too, since blood is a liquid. Or maybe I've watched too much Deadman Wonderland, lol.

Do you, or anybody reading this, actually, know if it's possible to be able to invoke more than one element?

How can you invoke an element? And what can it be used for? Would it give you tbe power of the element?

I was reading something on JoS the other day about the chakras and elements and it said that the front and back of your body are fire and air which are north and south poles and earth and water are the sides or flip flopped but either way fire and air are both electric and earth and water are magnetic. That's what I read anyway lol

It is all described in the JoS webside, Meditation page
You simply inhale the element by visualizing it entering into your soul/being. This will alter your energies, shift your "mood" accordingly - it can't be said you get the power of the element, better to say you can use the element in your favour as soon as you will be able to master it and/or get confident with the use.
Beware not to inhale more than 7 breaths if you are new at it - as it's stated in the JoS meditation pages.
