Learning to SEE

I just read in Maxine's article about Telekinesis, that says

"It definitely helps to be able to see auras. When we open our third eye, this gives us the ability, but we must learn to use this ability to see."

My third eye is open, I can feel it easily, and sometimes I see random things, flashes, etc. I have already written about these. But I'd like to know how can one consciously learn to SEE through his/her third eye? Or will it work automatically if I keep meditating on my 3rd eye? How can I learn to use astral sight as said in the quoted paragraph?

Those of you who already have this ability, and can see auras and such, could you give me some guidance regarding this?

Any help appreciated.

..Hail Satan!! This is just what i did and it may help you.
Feeling auras is much easier than seeing them. To feel your aura, run one of your hands over the top of the other, or over your forearm. You should feel the energy.
You can also practice feeling the auras of friends and family members if they are interested in letting you.
To see your own aura, you should start out by going into a light trance state. You should have already opened your third eye.
Hold your hand out in front of you, preferably against a dark background. In the beginning, you should be able to see some faint lines surrounding your hand and fingers. The more you tune into this, like anything, (practice is what is needed here), the better you will become. The better you become at seeing your own aura, you soon will be able to see the auras of others, by just tuning in to them. Later on, you will be able to see colors, layers, and shapes.

Like you, I'm trying hard to develop astral vision--I think it takes a lot of time and dedication, I haven't achieved it yet--however, I see swirling colors when I close my eyes and meditate, and they are purple and yellow--and I know I'm seeing my aura b/c a psychic once told me she saw auras and mine were--yellow and purple! Just we need to keep working on it, but like you, if anyone else has developed their astral vision I would be happy to hear how they did it...

Work on your pineal gland!!!!! That's "the seat of psychic powers" (can't remember where exactly I read that).

When I was new, I worked on my 3rd eye and clairvoyance chakras (eyes 1-6 on the forehead, in case you didn't now) all the time, and nothing. Started working on my pineal gland, and one day I'm putting on eyeliner and I noticed that my eyeliner pencil had an aura (yes, even inanimate objects have auras). There are meditations on JoS for the pineal gland.

Wow, thanks, Lydia! I'm doing the same thing you did, I meditate on my astral vision points every day, and my pineal gland too, but now I'll start to place more emphasis on it.
