Be more specific for me, what are you having trouble with. You don't know what the signs in certain houses mean? You don't know the zodiac glyphs? The Astrological Chart can get really complex and IS really complex. It can take on infinite meanings. Don't get frustrated. Read people's experiences with certain planetary aspects and see+compare how it effects you or how it manifests in your life. That's how I'm learning (and still am learning).

I know some girl who absolutely hates modern astrology because she claims there's so much wrong with it. I think it's true to an extent. Be careful with where you get information from. The JoS groups have files (.pdf) of astrological books. You can read those.
