Lag time question

I was wondering how long the lag time is for a destruction ritual. I performed the same ritual twice against the same person. Once I did it and waiter for 2 months so I decided to do it again, but I can't stop thinking about it and I may have doubts in my work because it is my first enemy that I performed a destruction ritual on and I'm just waiting for the outcome... So if you'ver performed one, how long did it take for it to work? Hail Satan!
