Killing in a Dream?

ModernMage3 min to read

I have been very hesitant on making this thread as to not give new members the wrong idea or implant certain thoughts in them. I have had intense vivid dreams my entire life with some standing out more than others.

However after doing the ritual for the Three Fates (Morai) I had dream that I just can't shake from my thoughts. In the dream I was in an older Victorian style home. The entire place had this dark veil around it in almost every room. In each room the dark would border the entire room with the center being more visible and colorful. Inside the home there were 2 or 3 men. Now the biggest part, there was a woman there who I could never quite see her entire face, it would constantly shift from beautiful and young to old and almost monstrous. She was also naked and her aura was bright around her but past that it was almost completely black. The proportions of her arms and legs were also kind of weird, being almost extra long or too long for a normal person. It felt like the men there and myself were being held captive. At one point I thought "I need to kill this thing." (for some context I am not an aggressive person at all almost always avoiding conflict or resolving them through wit and intelligence.) I was in a different room, as I left I went down a hallway to where her room was the entire place looking like there was dark grime around it. After entering her room she lied down trying to seduce me, I then rolled her over and stabbed her directly in the heart and held her close as I felt her struggling against me. She was screaming and I could see almost tentacle like things coming out of her as I lied on top of her. When she had perished I went outside to a very large open area in front of the house and could see a long clothesline like structure but lined with bones, skins, and skulls.

Just what in the heck was this all about? I still can't stop thinking about it. It felt so real I could feel this thing struggling against me when I stabbed it. It left a very real intense impression on me. Why did I think I needed to kill it? Is this just some crazy dream or is there any spiritual significance to it? I am at a loss of words trying to comprehend it and most dream interpretations are yehuboric or new age garbage.

Maybe some feelings or wound or any influence alike holding you back?

Do you play a lot of video games?

Some of the things that you wrote reminded me of certain video games.

But I think this dream can also mean this:

Victorian=something in the past or maybe your childhood

Dark veil=your subconcious, things you don't have direct influence of

Other men=your past selves or other aspects of your personality

The woman=this can mean a lot of things: maybe your feminine side, maybe it reflects what you like in a partner?

But I think It's important that the women let you kill her. So I think this dream means you are trying to act Upon something thats holding you back for a long time maybe this thing makes you feel shame, shyness or guilt (nudity)

Think of your dreams as your soul's own language. A lot of the new age dream interpretation content is nonsense because it ascribes universal meanings to things which are often highly personal. Two people dream of a dog barking, it could have two extremely different meanings.

For a Zevist, of course, it's entirely normal to have dreams which don't feel like "just dreams". I've had so many myself I could not list them all. Some have been lucid dreams, some have been visitations, some have been astral wandering. Some have even been attack dreams, dealing with negative entities and energies, etc.

In your case, it's not an unnatural feeling to respond with hostility to something in a dream which is offputting or feels dangerous. This is really just a manifestation of self-preservation instinct. What I will also say is, these uncanny features or symbols of death or grime or matters like this, can sometimes mean the dream is a indicative of unclean energy. In some cases, even the act of cleaning or developing your soul itself can bring dross like this to the surface.

As for the other elements. Taken collectively, all these elements can be a mixture of real memories, impressions, things you've seen in media, past-life experiences, and so on. Obviously, this isn't a truly "satisfying" answer, as people often do want to take meanings away from dreams, and that's completely valid. What I would suggest is keeping a journal for your dreams. Over time, you'll likely have enough written down you'll begin to notice patterns, and perhaps it'll become clearer what these things mean to you personally. In the mean time, do your aura cleaning, and don't try to over think it, either. Speaking from experience, overthinking some of the grimier elements I've seen in dreams just meant I'd be seeing more of exactly that.

Thank you for your input. Most of my vivid dreams are encounters with my guardian teaching me something. So this kind of experience really stuck with me and made me scared in a way.

This is the targeted message.

What is strange about these? I do these dreams very frequently.

Maybe something is indicated through dreams, or maybe not. It's evident for you when it indicates something.

But these shouldn't involve moral guilt trips. There is no point.

Those are just NPCs generated randomly by your mind, and consequences in dreams happens usually because you think it will have consequences.

And a dream is like a moovie or a videogame, not real, and doing things in a dream doesn't mean doing things in real life, or that you want to do things in real life.

It's just a random generated simulation, where in most cases you have only partial control over.

That's also why analogical horror works. Do you know some people say to never ask someone in a dream what time and year it is, or to never look in a mirror, or to never say to people that they are in a dream and that they don't exist?

Well these are real only if you believe in these and expect these, otherwise nothing happens, I experimented with these.
