just another newbie with a question

i just recently dedicated myself after alot of thought and soul searching and about a two weeks before i did i was blessed with a very not so subtle sign that showed me this was real...i was just curious if someone with experiance could tell me what the best way is to find the name of the presence that helped by showing me the proof i so badly needed.
