Well, well, Yahoo did this shit deliberately. Notice how your Inbox is Super Difficult to navigate?!?! Fuck Yahoo! That's right. So now when we are looking from mail from each other we have to search through our ENTIRE Inbox, only 25 messages at a time. Starting with A it would take about 15 minutes to get to Z. Oh what about trying to find a Email that is on a particular Subject, yeah that's fun too, Good Luck! 25 messages at a time, it will take a Very Long Time to find what we are looking for. Thanks Yahoo for being such JEWS.
This is just to stop the members of the Joy of Satan e-groups from being so active. This is only my opinion however.

<td val[/IMG]Too true. Before it took me from 1-2 hours to go through all these mails on the groups, and that was like 200-300 mails, now I'm like 2144 mails unread and behind...it does seem like they are trying to keep us from eachother...fucking kikes

Yep, yahoo mail is not very user friendly. I tried it for a day (a few minutes in reality) and then switched back to gmail.

You could give it a try and switch to gmail (read below for the advantages)

HOW TO CHANGE TO GMAIL:
You can make a gmail account (if you don't have already) and then change the settings in your yahoo account and put the gmail address as an alternate email. (your yahoo account will have the yahoo address and the gmail address).

Though, after you put the address in your yahoo account you'll have to confirm that it's valid. (they send you a confirmation email and you click on a link to verify it)

Then you go to your yahoo groups and you edit the groups (there's a button). Through that screen you can change the address that each group will use (there's a combo box option bellow to change them all at once).

So you switch the yahoo groups to sent the notification emails to the gmail address.

GMAIL ADVANTAGES:

First of all the most useful features of gmail (for the JoS groups mails) is that

1) Gmail bundles mails with the same subject together

This means that 20 messages that were sent 10days apart (that have the same title subject) will be bundled in one mail thread. I don't have to search one by one. There are all in one place.

And if a new mail arrives for that thread while I'm reading, i get notified and it updates instantly.

2) I can create as many filter conditions i want

This means that one single mail can have "labels". For example i filter my mails having a different label for each JoS group.

This is the same as the folders in yahoo mail.

BUT!!!

3) The labels for one mail can be multiple!

This cannot be done in yahoo mail (as far as i know). Yahoo has the folders way of organizing. This means that one mail will be going to one folder only, not multiple.

In gmail, I have created specific filters that label a mail thread if the JoS ministry has replied to it (this brings my attention faster to what the HPs have to say)

This way in one mail thread, i can have the label "JoS666" group (you can name it whatever you want). And at the same time if a HP comments it will put the label "HP"

The different labels are also color coded (you can choose the color you want) so in one glance i can see if an HP has commented on a post.

4) Specifically on your "rant", Gmail lets you choose how many mail threads you'll display per page (5, 10, 15, 30, 50). They have a fully customizable mail view.

Sorry if this sounds like a gmail advertisement, but the functionality of yahoo mail is shit and on the other hand gmail has many innovations!

Notice that most posts that shouldn't be on spam is on spam,certain emails wont pop up as well.

It's getting easier to use, but no I haven't figured that part out yet. I had some 4200+ email in my inbox too. That was partly to blame.

Yeah, I also get 200 email on my PC and 1000 on my phone.
You can choose how many emails are displayed on a page. Just go to your email, and on the upper right side of the page you have several buttons. First there is "hi ____ (and your name)" followed by a "8 pointed star" ( the settings button), and then by the "home" button.
Just hover over the settings button (the 8 pointed star) and a small window will pop up. Click on the "mail options" (the second from the top in this new popped up little window). The first section in the newly opened page is "Behaviour". Here you can choose how many emails you want to be displayed on a page. You can chooses between 25 and 200 messages. Do any other changes you want and then click "save". It's all that simple

In the second section "viewing messages" i checked the "quote the text of the original message" box. This way it is clear to whom i reply, as the message i am responding to is right below my message

(i know some don't have this option saved and sometimes it is difficult to get whom they are replying to)
I have the "classic" version of yahoo. I hope the settings are the same for all versions.
