Isa - waiting for Mars or not?

I'm planning to do a runic working to focus my mind, etc. with the help of Isa.

The thing is, will this working be enhanced by Mars, or the Sun in Scorpio? Mars as the co-ruler obviously. And yes, I know about the Moon - Taurus, Cancer.

Mercury is penetrating intelligence, in the sense that you can deeply analyze and understand things. I believe it is useable for healing because it will help you understand the exact kind of illness, and (possibly) where it originated from. With this knowledge it should then be possible to cure the illness. I could be wrong though. Those are just my thoughts.
