I would leave the second "totally" as it is and change the first with "completely" and/or "permanently". But personally I would focus a lot more on visualising myself getting rid of any unhealthy sexuality, while, of course, saying the affirmation, yours now looks pretty good. The intention matters a lot as it is the one which directs the energy.

Or I would stop the affirmation on "impact" and I would do a separate working for my sex life.

I don't have anything to contribute except that "free" is a good affirmation word kinda like the Munka working on ToZ rituals about love life and freeing yourself from present and past life commitments.

Excellent analysis of affirmations. It just shows you more complexity of affirmations. What might work for one, might not work for others.

But still you raise a very interesting point in that affirmations need the education from the Gods on their Worlds.

I know that sounds odd to state but it seems like affirmations i.e. the context of the magic ritual promote a certain deep thinking and understanding.

On one hand people state be specific another state in the shortest statement possible.

I really don't know how to explain it better but your statements make a deep impression on me that your one of these people that MAY potentially over-complicate an affirmation or at least is looking to find the better or more perfect affirmation.

That isn't to be negative just I'm also a person who over-complicates or doesn't understand affirmations very well. Sometimes I stick to the tried and true other times I just change it and hope for the best.

For example I'm doing a Algs(one of several protection magick) and performed the affirmation x8 "Algs is now permanently protecting me at all times and in a safe, healthy, positive, and beneficial way for me".

Since you stated "now" is optional since it's already present tense it confirms something. But also raises the question does the energy BUILD up as in a projected magick ritual like money ritual and THEN fires off after a period of time. Or does the word now make it fire off immediately. Another possibility is it builds up and then at some point it goes out on it's own accord when the energy feels it's ready.

These are questions I asked myself but can't find an answer.

Also I used to state protects me at all times "and in every way". Every way I'm protected but I do recall one person stating they were protected negatively so by including the capture of "EVERY WAY" literally it's every way.

I understand the idea is innocent enough but WHAT IF.

So I state "at all times AND in a safe, healthy, positive, and beneficial way for me". So I want Algs to protect me permanently but do so in a S., H., P., and B. way for me. I'm adding a positive clause to make the protection always positive.

Anyways I'm rambling it's a hell of an interesting subject shame we don't have the Gods around helping us out in said manner.
