is it disrespecful to wear an african necklase?

I have a friend who is really close to me and my family. Well he's a santeria high priest(babalao)from cuba. A while ago he gave me his necklase to show me his respect for me and said it protects you from witchcraft. Its all just green and yellow beads. But I've never really wore it and he always asks me why. So I wanted to know if it would be disrespecful to father and the demons if I wore it just so he won't feel bad. And his religion doesn't have anything to do with xtian shit. He works with african spirits and has an altar in his home with beads, shells, crocodile heads, ect. He knows I'm a satanist and we respect each others beliefs and don't talk about it. So could I wear it or not? I don't believe in his religion its just cuz I'm embarassed and I wanna show him apreciassion for a small gift. And my pentagram is about to be here and I'm gonna wear it and don't want him to feel bad so can I? And if I can't its ok ill have to explain to him I can't wear it but I apreciate it. Thanks!

Well if he's into the occult, and he supports you being a satanist then it wouldn't be anything bad to just wear it to show appreciation. And you said yourself that he's not in any xian bullshit.
