If a person only goes through the Dedication Ritual but does not actively pursue spiritual growth, can they become a Zevist and be saved from the evil god system after death?

Will the good gods then escort their soul to the place where Zevists go?

The whole purpose of the dedication ritual to Zeus:
1. Is coming to that crossroads where you recognise and want the truth in your life.
2. You want to be free from a world that is in a slumber of ignorance and enslavement.
3. You want to advance spiritually, physically and mentally.
4. You want to rid yourself of the dross, grow and nourish the tree of life, ascend the wise dragon, and think with the righteousness and awareness of a God.

Yes, you'll probably be protected by the Gods and your soul won't end up in Tartarus, but you will scolded and eventually sent right back here were you left off. Why would you want that?

There is no such thing as passive salvation in this world. Dedication is basically letting the Gods know, that "Hello, here I am, about to walk the path."
Actually walking the path is the really important part.

Most people will be fine after death. There's no eternal punishment for those who aren't Zevists. Only those who are deeply associated with enemy anti-life teachings or those who are antisocial and commit atrocities should worry.

One doesn't become a Zevist to get saved from anything, but to perfect his soul. Zevism isn't negatively focused like xianity, it is positively focused. The xian concept of salvation is negative, it implies you are in danger and you need to overcome it, which is not true. The Zevist concept of perfection is positive, you are fine now but you can improve and perfect yourself and reach Godhead.

The dedication is only your initiation/commitment to walk the path, but it has no power. Your daily practices and actions make the real difference.

2. Then how can I receive guaranteed protection and be escorted after death?

3. How can I avoid the other issues you mentioned?
