Invitation to join illuminati - order of the light?

I remembered a message i got on facebook around 10 years ago. It was an invitation to join illuminati - order of the light. The guy who messaged me said that i was chosen. He asked me to send en email to the given address with my full name and phone number. I asked him why i was chosen and he said just send the email. I didn't send the email or talk to the guy after that. The facebook account that contacted me was closed a few days after that.

Does anyone have any clue what that was? Do you think that was a real invitation from the enemy or maybe a scam or something?

It’s a scam, like the “Nigerian prince” one. People in poor countries do this to get a few bucks instead of getting a real job
