Inability to inhale enough

As the title states, I'm struggling to get enough air (saw another member post a similar problem the other day). It's different though, if I breathe through my mouth, I can get enough air, fairly alright, but for obvious reasons, I don't want to have to breathe only through my mouth for years.
It's almost like my nose is stuffed, but not really. The best I can tell, my nasal cavity is slightly swollen? It's been like this for over a year, but slowly getting worse. I can breathe through my nose fine, but I barely get enough air. Anytime I try to do vibrations (or even just affirmations) I get very out of breath, to the point I often have to pause and just try to catch my breath before continuing.
I'm not sure if it's related, but my father (and his 4 brothers) all have/had varying degrees of what's called a "deviated septum". As far as I know I don't have this, but perhaps it is related.
I've been trying to do the Breath of Fire in hopes it would help, but it only helps for a few minutes.

CentralForce helped me a while ago, informing me I had "Lily Disease" (I changed usernames). That's mostly healed up, I still have some minor symptoms of it, so I'm still working on healing that (symptoms are: minor and rare back pain, very rare muscle twitches, hands and feet sometimes still cold while body warm).

Thanks for the help.

Do you get a feeling as though your chest is stuffy or oppressed? As though there is a weight upon it?

Sometimes. I'd always attributed it to minor anxiety I'll get (usually only happens when the enemy is attacking, or so it's seemed).

Yes, definitely. Anytime I'm even remotely stressed (even if it's something minor like "I need to make sure I set my alarm for work tomorrow") it'll happen, my chest sort of feels tight, and my breathing becomes slightly shallow. Heart rate doesn't speed up when this happens though, I've checked.
