important of dark forces

Hello, I want ask sum question.
First, why is black color important for Satan and doing magic?
And second, during dedication, why we called dark forces to us.
I mean why not light forces?
Is the light is not good for us?
Please clarify me.

I do believe Black is important as it connotes the hidden... the occult is a hidden thing; hidden knowledge, thus the color as an analogy or so. And the ones called forces of light are the opposite, they may be seen to humans as light but are evidently not at all. Power lies in the dark. This does not denote evil in any sense.

The supposed light forces cannot exist without the darker, feminine side just as yang cannot exist without yin.

Part of the dedication involves a certain extent of deprogramming from this new age idea that everything is love and light, don't judge and have compassion for everyone OR ELSE KARMA!

This notion is of course ridiculous since if the universe is all love and light and happiness then why does it want to punish us again?

Recognition of the dark, female side of magic in essential to the proper working of magic and is the benefit and gain of Satanic magic over other magical systems whose adherents would be lucky to be able to even perform the most basic of magic with any measurable success.
