Look at yourself, are you not a mere shell of what you could be? Do you not feel empty, drifting through life, never satiated?
I know that I was, no, that I still am, fortunately I stumbled upon something which helped me realize this, to help me realize how hollow I am. It's also what allowed me to stop porn and other escapism, in fact, I don't have any desire towards it anymore. I even question why I had desire towards it to begin with.
In the past I used to heavily indulge in anime, novels, porn, unhealthy food, and other forms of escapism, but, after reading through something an SS member shared, and, applying the ideas presented not only to porn but also to the other forms of escapism in my life, it helped me realize not only how I didn't enjoy any of these things to begin with, but also how empty I am.
Many years ago I was far more advanced spiritually, physically, and mentally, than I currently am. One day, I stepped into a rabbit hole, a rabbit hole of escapism. This rabbit hole would eventually lead to the destruction of my life. It led me to where I am today, and, where I've been for some time, constantly on a loop, starting, stopping, starting, stopping, advancing, de-advancing.
The biggest problem with escapism is actually created by a psychological function meant to condition us to new experiences. This function is called de-sensitization and what it does is cause repeated stimulus of the same kind to have a lesser reaction. This is very useful for staying sane in places like a war zone for instance.
De-sensitization can be very good, however, when we introduce escapism, it becomes a major problem. See, the brain has something called neural-plasticity which describes how easily our brains adapt to change. Now, every habit you have plays on this neuroplasticity and creatures synaptic "highways" which get re-inforced with each use. Basically, everytime you do something, your brain creates a little physical pattern to make it easier to do next time, this is how habits are formed.
Everytime you use this "highway" it's re-inforced and made stronger than before. In the resource that the SS shared the highway is referred to as a greasy slide that everytime you ride it, it makes it even more greasy and even easier to slide down.
Now, I could go on and on, but, instead I'd like to write a thank you to the member who shared this information and encourage you all to read this if you indulge in any form of escapism. Regardless of whether it be porn, alcohol, smoking, anime, manga, novels, youtube, video games, whatever the case may be. I ask you to read this resource as it may show you, as it did for me, just how much potential you're throwing away.
Thank you brother Henu, although you shared this in response to another member, it truly has changed my life for the better.
There may have been others who shared it before you, but I say thank you to you, because, it was you who shared it on a thread I was reading and as a result, me finding it.
I'd also like to thank the Satan and the Gods, after all, I know it's no coincidence I found this post by Henu, I know that I was directed to see this piece of information.
For those of you out there who ever feel like you should share information in a post, even if the information seems out of place, please do, you may just end up helping someone like me who get's directed to said information.
Thanks so much everyone for your time! I appreciate you all!
Hail Satan Forever!!!!
