I have recently been drawn to looking at mudras and their use for some reason.  Just a short while ago i was pretty skeptical about how "weird connections" of our fingers can cause affects throughout the whole body.  I will let some sites i have discovered do most of the technical explanations but would like to share things i have noticed.

The two most common/most powerful i have noticed are the Gyan mudra and the Pran Mudra

Gyan mudra: This is the one you see often of yogies where the thing and index finger are touching.  This one i notice the effects immediately.  It quiets my mind like nothing else and helps me to focus.  I am now using this in meditations b/c of its qualities.  I can clearly see a difference in my mind chatter with this mudra applied during meditation.  So please give it a try.

Pran Mudra:  This is the exact mudra for awakening the heart chakra except you don't cross your arms (thumb touches little and ring finger).  It brings energy and vitality.  When i do this mudra my heart chakra starts to 'beat' rapidly but if you were to check my pulse it would be a normal 58 bps.  I also can feel energy throughout my body and as always i get muscle spasms when i work with energy so i know this mudra is making/moving bio-electricity.  This one has many benefits to it as well so check it out for yourself.

Last note, on JOS under Advanced Satanism there is an article about Astaroth's 8 Fold path of Advanced Empowerment.  Mudras are #6 on the list so they are important for us to practice daily.  For instance: the gyan mudra can be done anywhere/and anytime.  Hope this helps others on their way to empowerment.

The Kundalini Yoga Basic Spinal Series and the Mer Ka Ba meditation include mudras too, if you do these every day (like me) you're also using mudras every day..

If you want to relax and concentrate, try this meditation with this powerful mudra, and it only takes 3 mins!:
