HPS Lydia also said elsewhere, I think, that it's okay do 7-day iterations instead of 40-day workings, which is probably why mine still felt effective even though I ended it too soon... At exactly 7 days.

I always try to be very concentrated and involve all my physical senses in the visualisation, which I think has helped massively. At first, it was kinda just like a "cinema screen" in my mind that I was watching, which I felt was ineffective and I think most people do it that way as well.

108 is legit to use for cycles, especially when multiples of nines are in question. It's a decent all-purpose number (9 and 108), but numbers like 100 and 111 are better for certain things. There is no 'bad' in a sense as all of this depends on your goal.
