I think I messed up and I'm afraid..

I wrote the dedication ritual, and I think it was off by one word. And I wrote my full name in blood, but I got the blood from a cut on my thumb. And then I didn't use a candle to burn it, I just lit it on fire and let it burn. When the fire was done burning I noticed that there was still a piece of the paper that didn't burn. But then my parents came home, and out of fear I threw the pile down the drain of the sink and turned the water on.. I think I screwed up badly.. What do I do? Can I do it again to try to make it perfect? What should I do now?

Exactly the same problem: I know how you feel. I also slightly messed it up- e.g. a piece of the paper didn't burn, but actually what matters is your intention. The ritual, in whatever form, but still containing the main aspects: (blood, fire, etc) is simply expressing your desire.
