Up until now I always considered myself a LaVeyan but I just vaguely crossed the basis due to great lack of time and peace. 
Can anyone tell me the difference between these two? And if spiritual Satanism may be opened up to someone without the developed knowledge and experience with it?

What confuses me the most is that there is always an issue with proving the might of this practice, and instead often connecting of it to plain confidence instead of a result. Or have I just been running into falsehood?

well read joyofsatan.org and all within. and second if I remember correctly LaVeyan's don't believein Satan as an actual being Spirtual Satanist believe he is real and exist LaVeyan's just think he's someone archetype that they worship in their rituals and that he doesn't really exist as a God and real being like spiritual Satanist do. meditate and open up your chakra's / and all the basics to open up to get to know Satan. if you agree and feel your ready dedicate to him to work to better your life and soul. if something doesn't feel right ask Satan to show you the truth or your Guardian demon when your ready. my best advice is study and just know that the other religions RHP (Christians , Jews) are wrong and false Read EVERYTHING on joyofsatan.org and learn and when your done learn learn more knowledge is power and only the truth will set you free. and be careful who you trust on this site there are enemies and trolls who want to pretend to be your friend to betray or even kill and never give out your phone or real name online its just stupid these groups have numbers in the 10 of thousands above and the enemies of Satan know this.
