human population

There is too much of us on this earth! i mean i saw on th news that china has reached a population of 1.3 billion omg! thats crazy and lets not forget africa and india and all the whole world! how will this be fixed?? its affecting the world and its resources. If the world is going to recover wouldnt millions have of people have to die? unfortunately i feel so. Anyone else have any thoughts?

I totally agree and from a scientific and technology point of view, we are at oil peak right now. How much longer is that going to last? In America, most things, if not everything, rely on oil nowadays. We have no other energy sources that will last us. When the oil is gone, our renewable energy sources will eventually break down because we wont be able to repair them. Alot of people wont make it. It will be a strougle. I forget where, but someone said that the world can only support 1 billion people. This is all from a scientific viewpoint though. Im sure it will all work out when we come to it though .

You know, I agree but disagree. There are too many people here on Earth and this could have negative or positive effects on the Earth when it comes to space on the planet and pollution, and when it comes to there being more of us to advance, you know strength in numbers :/ So the outcome from this huge overall population on earth to me, is up to what the future generations do or maybe my own generation because i turning 20 in a week.
