Imagination and practice being the keywords here, try to imagine yourself surrounded with brilliant positive light of energy. How fast it will take for you to actually feel the energy depends on the strength of your soul and mind in the first place. So this may take some time. But don't get discouraged!
This can range from days, to weeks, to months. If you practice meditation consistently. With the imagination practice, the results will come. Just be patient and don't stress this. How a person feel energies may differ from person to person and can be very different to some respect.
The same goes for focusing on the energies inside you, use the same technique, just imagine a white brilliant light inside you. This on its own acts as a focus. If you are able to, visualization is a big help and a focusing act as well. While imagining it, hold on on it, try to keep the light there in your imagination and meditate on it.
Whilst imagining it, try to feel it. This way the energies will be felt. Again, this may take some time and is all up to the individual.
