It depends on the following...
1) if you did past lifes meditations, and how advanced you were back then2) if you did meditations in your past current life ( like void meditation), you could progress easier3) what you drink ( like alchool reduces control over your soul) so you actully have a very poor performance in meditation4) what you eat (all the crap put in our food numbs the brain), white sugar overstimulates the brain...5) if you are flexible, if all your chi of your soul and all your blodd of your body if traveling good... it is done ith hatha yoga and improves improves your your total chi, regeneration and healing...6) how long do you meditate per day (too much can be bad) but it can make a BIG difference if you meditate 30 minutes- 1 hour instead of 15 minutes 7) your concentration and will... if you give it your all in meditation (probabily one of the most important points)8) your belief sistem... if you have xian ties left in you, it will be harder for you to progress9) your current physical condition... the more strong/athletic you are the more faster you can progress..athlets have naturally stronger auras than the rest of people...10) enviroment you are in... if you life in the Alps were everything is clean, or you live in a polluted place with millions of cars11) your family friends and all that surround you... you can progress faster if they are advanced and support you12) your personal hygiene, if you are cleaning yourself13) if you have any health issues...14) if you have any spine problems, pains etc.. you can solve them with kundalini yoga15) if you live in a negative xian enviroment opposed to an atheistic enviroment (so that the negative vortex energy would not effect you)16) goes without saying the drugs, destroy the brain in a horrible way... it almost cancels all other points...
Everything counts, it's the 1-2% improvment that counts! But all combined will make a BIG Difference!
So taking all this in consideretion it can take like from 1 week to 10 years to go from beginer to intermediete... for me it took 2 and a half years, although I only start meditating seriosly for half an year...
