I've read an article stating holidays and that most were stolen and corrupted into the holidays of today. I clearly don't understand the true meaning of most holidays (Halloween, Christmas, the beginning of summer?). Are there any specific purposes for such holidays? How do you celebrate them?

Am I allowed to practice certain Christian holidays with my family?

I Am not certain about the allowed part, but for my life recently it has been guided in a way I won't celebrate the Xian versions anymore, parents not wanting me in their house anymore and me not wanting them in mine. I will most likely celebrate the satanic ones in private
