heart chakra

Hello all,
I'm really in need of help. My best friend is having problems and he has (unkonwingly) completely chut down his heart chakra. He feels nothing so he won't have to deal with pain, as he has been through a rough time. I really wish to help him, but I don't know how. He doesn't know about satanism as I have been afraid to tell him. I don't know what to do, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried opening my heart chakra but while vibrating and everything I didn't really feel anything in my chest until about 3 minutes later when I went upstairs I felt a slight pain in my lower chest, it kind of hurt so did I open it?

Maxine said the heart chakra is a neutral chakra, that it directs energy above and below. The heart chakra is also the one that has to be protected from attack. Which is why pictures from ancient Egypt show the arms crossed over the heart chakra.
Doesn't that also mean that if the heart chakra is attacked that could spread to other chakras. And the other side of the coin, if your chakras are balanced and you empower the heart chakra that energy would go to all the chakras also.

Your mate needs to open and empower his throat chakra, not his heart chakra. The throat chakra is the seat of emotions, not the heart. The heart is simply a neuter.

I keep feeling pain in my chest and sometimes I have difficulty correctly visualizing the shape,color, and location of my heart chakra. I don't know why--I've looked at the diagrams many times and did the full chakra meditation several times and that helped, but sometimes my chakras don't feel right. They're right by the diagram, but they don't feel in the right place. For example, my heart chakra should be in the center of my chest, but going by feeling it's nearer to the front than my other chakras. I keep trying to correct this, but it's really difficult because I can't feel it in the center but at the front. I know chakras extend to the front and to the spine, but shouldn't I be able to feel it in the center, not just at the front? Or did I not open it enough? It feels open, just not in the right place.. I am grateful for any advice

Wherever you focus=energy. So when you focus on only one extension of the Chakra, that's where you feel the energy manifest. I have trouble with this sometimes to but in this case, you might have a Chakra blockage. Read this:Opening Blocked Chakras

<td val[/IMG]Your probably over thinking it. Just relax your mind and thoughts when it comes to visualization. You might want to try visualizing your heart chakra as vortex or lotus.

Thank you all for your help I might be over thinking it or it might be blocked. I think I'm over thinking the positions of all of my chakras and because of it my meditations aren't as effective. I think it might be blocked because I do feel a lot of pressure in my chest every time I try to spin my heart chakra/breath energy into it. Thanks for the advice and the links
