Hearing Demons name in my head, what does it mean?

For the last 2 days I have been hearing the God Anubis in my mind for a while, I know he's a high ranking god and specializes in the affairs of death. I'm kinda embarrassed to ask him myself if it's just nothing or does it mean something?

They're very understanding.

I've found, on some of the things I've been confused over, asking my questions or, for simple clarification, often brings better answers than I find here.

I can think of two things:1) Anubis might be your guardian. Possible.2) Someone who has passed wishes to talk to you. I am not betting on this one.

Sometimes I hear the name Astaroth in my mind. Repeating like a old CD-ROM having problems.

It's usually after some annoying things has happened to me. Some really rude and disrespectful voice intruding on my mind or thoughts etc.

I suspect the enemy trying to get away with it by saying "Astaroth."

In my experience this can be the demon trying to contact you - I had a similar experience with Osiris and when I focused on him he asked me to perform some research about him.

Ivan.Folghera, the Gods have also had me do research on Them too, after hearing Their name in my head and then the continuing urge to look Them up and talk/pray to Them too. Some of Them are God/esses of Hell, but not in the Goetia list.

I'v thought that my guardian demon could'v been Baal Zebul, Osiris or maybe Anubis but for sure it's someone who is fond of skull accessories. 
Your right No.state, maybe I should'v asked, the gods do give extraordinary answers, but I'm not sure if my clairaudience is well developed.@exarkun, you could be right!, my grandma is currently on her death bed back at my home town. She has taught most of the family to reject Christianity and this prevented xians from building churches over there, definitely a candidate to go to Duat!. I'l update if she's dead or not.
@Ivan, No joke! O_O, upon hearing his name I started reading about him and found him very interesting and has earned my respect. He's become one of my favourite demons/gods, I'v always liked him as a kid when I was into Egyptian gods and mythology but never got the time to do research about him.
