Happy Kolyada/Kolede

To those that still know after many centuries of unsuccessful attempts of the xtian church to erase all memory of the ancient Slavic ways, tonight and tomorrow is Kolede - the birth of the new sun. A winter festival celebrating the beginning of the new year, usually around two weeks after the winter solstice when the wolf priests performed rites to ward off negative cosmic influences. An interesting purification ritual that involved young men jumping through fire while reciting incantations for the Son of the Sun. Unfortunately not much information remains available to the public and it's reduced to a degenerated gathering around a bonfire with a lot of alcohol. The children used to go from door to door singing corrupted Kolede songs with xtian thematics but in some places the original versions survived to this day although it is now a mostly defunct tradition. I love this holiday as it was a day of resistance to the enemy 'til very recently when the last of our priests were slaughtered. So let us remember how it used to be and how the xtian cancer spread across our lands. When the time for retribution is right I will be here to remind you why the price they pay is so steep.
