On the European haplogroups map, the R1b is common within Western Europe while R1a is common within the northern half of Eastern Europe. A theory exists out there that R1b/R1a are the descendents of the Scythians. But what about I1 and I2. J1 and J2 are confusing because they include Jews, Greco Roman, Anatolian, ect. The Egyptian royals belong to R1b. If anyone else wishes to elaborate on this, that is much appreciated.
